New This Week: Third Graders!
A Look Back...
Our New Pledge!
Monday was New Pledge Day and students adopted the new Cougar Pride Pledge for our school. The pledge was a collaborative effort across Kildeer. Students were encouraged to submit ideas and then our Cougar Pride teacher committee sifted through the ideas, pulling out common themes, beliefs and phrases. Once the commonalities were identified, the ideas were put together to form our new pledge. Through this process, our new pledge is truly the voice of all of our students, which we now say each morning!
As a Kildeer Cougar:
I pledge to start each day prepared, with a smile on my face,
And make Kildeer School a safe, happy place.
I pledge to follow the Cougar 5 each day,
Respecting others in every way.
I am proud to be a Kildeer Cougar!

2012/13 Registration!
Have you registered your student for the 2012-2013 school year? Students–even those currently enrolled and returning–must be registered annually. If you missed the registration email(s) that include(s) the electronic link you will need to register your student(s), please call the public information coordinator at847.459.4260, ext. 7722, as soon as possible.

- Thursday, May 31 - Dessert Day - free for all students
- Thursday, May 31 - Cultural Lunch for Ms. Fell's ELL Students (Siegel)
- Thursday, May 31 - 5th Grade Transition Day (Woodlawn visit and special activities from our PTO)~Lunch is provided to all 5th graders. 5th graders are reminded to leave backpacks at home this day.
- Thursday, May 31 - Incoming 1st Graders from Willow Grove visit
- Friday, June 1 - Field Day
- Friday, June 1 - Special Lunch for Field Day - Mustard's Last Stand (11:30 Grades 4-5, 11:50 Grades 1-3)

- Wednesday, May 30 - Tongue-Twister Day - Bring in a tongue-twister to share with your class.
- Thursday, May 31 - U are Moving Up! - Visit your next grade level. This includes 5th graders taking a trip to Woodlawn, and incoming 1st graders visit us from Willow Grove.
- Friday, June 1 - Very Fun Day - Students will have a blast during Field Day!
