A Look Back...
4th/5th Grade Orchestra & 5th Grade Band
We had two music concerts this week! It was so fun to see our 4th and 5th graders shine. They clearly have been practicing very hard and boy did their work show! I was so proud of them and was thrilled to see all of our Kildeer families enjoy and celebrate this talented bunch!
A Look Ahead...
Cougar Pride Assembly~MONDAY
We are so excited for Monday's Cougar Pride Assembly, where students will be hearing our new Cougar Pride Pledge for the first time! Students were encouraged to contribute ideas for a Cougar Pride Pledge that will be a new addition to our morning announcements every day. Our pledge will serve as a daily reminder of why we have the Cougar 5 and what makes being a Kildeer Cougar so special. We had so many amazing ideas and our Cougar Pride staff committee worked together to read and discuss every one. They identified key ideas, shared beliefs and themes, and created a pledge that truly is representative of every entry. It was a process that recognized all ideas and entries in some way, to honor our students and value the collaborative community that we are. I'm so proud of the result, and can't wait to share it with you in next Friday's message. Students are encouraged to wear blue and gold on Monday or spirit wear!
From the Nurse's Office
We are currently in the spring tick season. Ticks favor a moist, shaded environment.
Students are always advised not to play under trees during recess. However, it is
important to check children for ticks regularly after they have been playing outside.
