Principal for a Day!
I had the pleasure of spending a day with a student I am sure is a rising leader!  Miss Sara Molzen, 2nd grader, was our Principal for a Day on Monday, which she was able to do through our PTO Bingo Blast event.  Miss Moltzen spent the day observing classrooms, supervising lunch and recesses, giving out Cougar paw slips, and taking part in student and teacher meetings.  She made many wonderful decisions for Kildeer School and I am so proud of her for her hard work.  Following are some  pictures capturing her hard work and a message from Miss Moltzen:

Dear Kildeer Families,
I saw a lot of great work that students were doing at Kildeer, like following directions, using kind words, keeping my hands and feet to myself, and doing my best.  Some of the work they were doing was making Mother's Day presents to help them learn to become better writers, learning about butterflies, making clay food (NOT TO EAT!), and studying math and spelling.  There was a class who did an extra great job.  It was Mrs. Scheribel's fifth grade class.  Good job to them!  Here is a picture to show you about my day:
The best part of my day was...
Getting to give out Cougar Pride Paws! I gave out 3 cougar paws to second graders, 2 to first graders and 2 to fifth graders!
From,
Sara Moltzen

The stand out day this week was "Flip Day".  Students usually get Cougar Paws from adults, but on Flip Day, adults got Cougar Paws from kids!  Staff all agreed that it felt so wonderful to be recognized in this way.  Students wrote such sweet notes on the paws we received.  It really made for a special day and helped us see just why our students love getting our Cougar Paws so much.

A Look Ahead...
