Spring Book Fair & 5th Grade Showcase
Our Spring Book Fair got everyone in the mood for summer with it's luau theme.  Students enjoyed finding plenty of good-reads for summer and talking about books with their friends and teachers.  Thank you to our PTO and parents for supporting the event!  


Monday evening we were thrilled with the number of families that came by the book fair and stopped in to see the collaborative music/dance/art projects put together by our 5th grade students.  Thank you to all who came.  I know our 5th graders loved sharing their creativity and we're all proud of the work they did.

Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week

We thank the PTO and our Kildeer Families for the wonderful week we had. Fabulous goodies and heartfelt notes warmed our hearts.  We were blown away by the thought and details put into the yummies and lunches the PTO provided us.  Such a treat!  This has been a wonderful school year and we are so appreciative for the children and families we are honored to work with.  It is truly a gift to be a part of Kildeer School!  Thank you, Thank you, to YOU!

5th Grade Band!
Attention 5th Grade Band Families: On Monday, May 14th, we are taking a field trip to Woodlawn to practice for our upcoming concert (May 17th) with the Country Meadows band.  Please remember to drop your child off at Woodlawn at 8:15am.  A bus will bring us back to Kildeer at 9:30am.  Please return signed permission slips to Kildeer prior to May 14th. You can find a printable form on our website.

2012/13 Registration

Is registration still on your To Do List?  Student registration for the 2012-2013 school year is happening online now. Note that returning students–as well as those new to District 96–must be registered for the upcoming school year. In April, the District sent emails including registration links and instructions. If you missed the email(s), please call the public information coordinator at 847.459.4260, ext. 7722, as soon as possible. Don't delay–families who register by midnight on Friday, May 18, will save $20 per student.

• Monday, May 7 - Denim Day ~ wear your favorite jeans or denim clothers
• Tuesday,  May 8 - Express Yourself Day ~ wear your favorite color, team, sport, musician (band/singer), etc.
• Wednesday, May 9 - Flip Day ~ students get to give a Cougar Paw to any adult at school they would like to recognize (Paws provided at school)
• Thursday, May 10 - Game Day ~ bring a game to play at school (no electronics)
• Friday, May 11 - Hat Day ~ wear a hat to school
