Human Growth and Development: Attention Parents of all 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders
From the P.E. Staff - Beginning January 4th, we will be teaching our Human Growth and Development unit to all 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students. In years past, a permission slip was required for your child to participate in this program. That is no longer necessary since this is a part of our curriculum, mandated by the state. A copy of the Curriculum and Objectives was included in the packets that each family received at the beginning of the school year. You may also access this information by clicking our "Forms" link towards the bottom of this Principal's Message and you will find a link for it under "Permission Slips". Mrs. Blair and Mr. Emde will be available during conferences to answer any questions that you might have. We will also have all of the videos and pamphlets available for your viewing at that time.
Keepin' Up With Kildeer
Human Growth and Development is also our next topic at the December 2nd Keepin' Up With Kildeer parent & principal meeting. This is an opportunity to talk about what children learn on this topic. All parents are welcome. We meet from 9:30-10:30 a.m.
