In the Groove!

Our small gym, I like to call him Jimmy, is the place to be!  It's all set up and looking fabulous for our Out of this World Book Fair beginning next week.  Our ICE CREAM AND PIZZA SOCIAL goes along with the Book Fair on Wednesday evening from 5:30-8:00 p.m.  Join us for fun, pizza, ice cream, and shopping for new books your family will enjoy at home.  I can't wait to bring my family and hope to see yours!  An enormous thank you to all the parent volunteers who give their time and talent to make these great events possible! Also next week, we'll hold our first Keepin' Up With Kildeer parent coffee of the year, previously known as "Captain's Table".  This is an opportunity to meet with me around topics of interest to YOU!  At our first meeting we'll be generating topics for the year.  I'd love your input, so please grab a cup of joe on your way and come on by.  I look forward to our casual conversation on Friday, September 23rd, from 9:30-10:30a.m.  Please help us to determine the appropriate space to meet by emailing your R.S.V.P. to Mrs. Gioviano at ggioviano@kcsd96.org or giving us a call at 847-634-3243.  Thank you! District 96 Dash for Technology Do your children come home excited about the technology in their classroom and school?   At school, we see the highly engaged students utilizing technology everyday!  Let's keep it  going.  The PTO Coordinating Council is organizing the first District 96 Dash for Technology.   "The Dash" is a 5k walk/run, which is fun for the whole family!  The event starts and finishes  at Twin Groves Middle School on Sunday, October 2nd.  Start time is 8:00 a.m.  Click here  to register!  The cost is $15 per person through September 26th.  Same-day registration will  increase to $20 per person.
