Our Kildeer PTO sure knows how to put the BLAST in Bingo Blast! Let's hear it for Champ the Cougar, who really knew how to get the party going! Thank you to our PTO who worked tirelessly to make this such a success and to our families for your contributions and generosity.
A Look Ahead...
ISAT Testing Continues
It is critical that students are in attendance for testing. While we can do make-up tests, it is best for students to be in attendance on testing days, barring illness. Please make sure that your child gets a good night’s sleep, a healthy breakfast, and a “pick me up” talk about giving 100% effort and doing your very best on the tests. It’s a challenging and stressful time for all, but with a positive attitude, we will shine in showing our knowledge!
5th Grade Parents...Middle School is Coming!
~Revised Woodlawn Parent Orientation Date~
- DATE CHANGE! 6th grade Parent Orientation Evening is coming up at Woodlawn Middle School on Monday, April 23rd, at 7:00 p.m. It will be in the Woodlawn gym. This was revised, as there was a conflict with our 5th Grade Musical.
- Join Woodlawn Principal Greg Grana, Assistant Principal Chris Murphy, and me at our next Keepin' Up With Kildeer parent/Principal meeting to have an opportunity to ask questions and have an informal conversation around the transition to middle school. This is on April 13th from 9:30-10:30 at Kildeer.

Learn More About Social Emotional Learning
The District will be hosting a parent information evening regarding social and emotional learning standards on Tuesday, March 13th, at Ivy Hall, 7:00 p.m. This presentation will focus on our work with students beyond academic learning. You will learn about the five social emotional competencies and our plans for supporting students. Please attend, it promises to be an informative evening! Click here for more information.
