A Look Back...
Welcome back to a new year! We started out on a happy note with a Cultural Arts Assembly brought to the students by our fabulous PTO and parent support. The kids had a great time jammin' to the island music of Tropix Explosion. They are an eco-friendly band, using repurposed instruments, that shared stories of other cultures and their history. Thanks to the parents who volunteered that afternoon.
A Look Ahead...
We're looking forward to a Cougar Pride Assembly next week. Students may wear school colors (blue/gold) or Cougar-Gear (spirit wear).
Next Friday we also have another Keepin' Up With Kildeer parent/principal meeting. This is an opportunity to connect around topics of parent interest. Our next topic coming up on January 13th is Literacy Practices and includes technology integration.
