We are so excited to see the students on our first half day back on August 24th. On this half day our school day will start at 8:25 and dismiss at 11:45. Be on the lookout for your classroom placement and bussing information, which will be mailed on Wednesday, August 17th. We hope to see you on Meet the Teacher Day on August 23rd from 11:00-12:00. Thank you so much for the warm welcome I received as the 2011-12 school year came to a close. I have already felt the warmth and energy that makes Kildeer a family. I am looking forward to getting to know your family this year and working together to best educate your child.
Don’t miss the Long Grove Fine Art Festival on August 20th from 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. and the 21st from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. It's located in the Archer Parking Lot in downtown Long Grove. There are over 90 juried artists plus food, music and activities for the entire family. Proceeds from the artists' fees benefit the Cultural Arts program at Kildeer. Come by, support our PTO and have a great day. I hope to see you there!
